How to Enter an Amazon Code on Desktop and Mobile

When you set up Prime Video or another Amazon app on a new device, you’ll often see a short activation code. This code links your device to your Amazon account, and you can enter it easily on both desktop and mobile.

Entering the Code on Mobile

  • Open the browser on your smartphone.
  • Go to amazon.com/code.
  • Sign in with your Amazon account credentials.
  • Enter the activation code displayed on your TV or device.
  • Tap Register Device.

Entering the Code on Desktop

  • On your computer, open a web browser.
  • Visit amazon.com/code.
  • Log in with your Amazon account.
  • Type in the activation code exactly as shown on your device’s screen.
  • Click Register Device.
  • Once confirmed, your device will be activated and ready to stream.

Quick Tips

Code expired? Restart the app or device to generate a new one.

Internet issues? Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi.

Multiple accounts? Double-check you’re signing in with the correct Amazon account.
